Nadine MacKinnon’s music video documents the excitement and breadth of the movement from 2013 through to August 2016. The campaign is organizing for a big demonstration at Queen’s Park in Toronto on October 1st.

Pam Franche makes an interesting statement that the $15 figure came from workers themselves who felt they would fight for that but they didn’t believe a living wage of $20 was something they could achieve. $15 American is $19.49 Canadian. I wish Franche could have illustrated how the decision was made… by polls? by informal discussions?
