“My husband, at first, he didn’t think much of my involvement in [the] union. He was quite displeased with my involvement. And, at one point, during negotiations after being away eleven says, when I got home he was real depressed and he asked to have a good talk. So I sat down with him, and he told me to make my decision, either to leave CUPE or leave him. And I said that, no way would I leave CUPE.”
