The diplomatic row between Canada and Saudi Arabia has become headline news around the world. In this episode of Rank and File Radio – Prairies Edition, host Emily Leedham speaks with Anthony Fenton, an expert on Canadian-Saudi relations. Anthony Fenton is a researcher based in BC, specializing in Canadian political economy and international relations. Currently, he’s finishing his PhD thesis at York University (Toronto), which focuses on the political and economic history of Canada’s relations with Saudi Arabia and the neighbouring Gulf monarchies, covering the post-WWI to the present day.
