The Saskatchewan Union of Nurses is currently accepting applications for a full-time (permanent) Research/Policy Analyst in our Regina Office. I have included the posting below as well as an attachment.
Build on the social determinants of health. Use research to advance health care policy. Delve into legislation to uncover real world consequences. Analyze data to decipher implications for our members and society. Help make health care transformation work for Registered Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses and Nurse Practitioners.
Be a research and public policy expert. You have a research focused bachelor’s or master’s, and have extensive experience researching and analyzing public policy. But more than that, you focus on using research and evidence to build arguments. You bring razor sharp policy instincts. And you are passionate about health care and believe in trade union principles.
Work in a great environment. We are proud of the excellent salaries, benefits and working conditions that we provide in our unionized workplace. Our officers work 35 hours per week with flex time, and start at $49.38 per hour.
Is this you? Tell us why. Email a resume and cover letter to Tim Williams, Executive Administrative Coordinator, at tim.williams@sun-nurses.sk.ca, by July 2, 2013.
