Doug Ford has announced his transition team of little guys.
Who are these hard working struggling Ontarians who will help us out?
Well it turns out they are all elites, political insiders, lifetime politicians and a sunshine list CEO who’s been gorging himself on the public dime.
Dean French was a longtime political insider with the Ontario PCs and the Canadian Alliance. But since the early 2000s he has focused on being an “advisor to high net wealth individuals and companies”. He is a long time friend of the Fords. So guy who’s job, if you could call it that, is to help make rich people richer. Basically a bootlicker of the elites.
John Baird was Harris government stooge, who rolled out workfare and infamously Kimberly Rogers in Sudbury died under his tenure. Also under his watch hydro prices skyrocketed due the to Tory break up of Ontario Hydro. After doing his damage under Harris, he served in Harper’s government voting for tax cuts for the rich, increasing retirement age for workers and personally overseeing cuts to the Status of Women, medicinal marijuana research, Canadian museums, adult literacy and youth employment and social development. He’s a professional politician who has a pension from Ottawa and from Ontario for being a MP/MPP. Another parasite on the taxpayer
Chris Froggatt is a another veteran political insider. He was John Baird’s chief of staff and a senior advisor to Preston Manning. For the last number of years he has a managing partner at National, one of Ottawa’s top public relations firms. He is the quintessential elite political insider.
Mike Coates is a lifelong strategist and advisor to Tories. For years he worked at the establishment lobbying firm Hill and Knowlton. He was also the former secretary and treasurer for the federal Progressive Conservatives. He recently ran Kevin O’Leary’s failed leadership bid for the Conservative party. Another insider.
Dr. Rueben Devlin is the former CEO of Humber River Hospital, he’s been creaming off boat loads of tax dollars for himself. In 2016 he made off with $516,000 for playing golf and going to dinners, while contracting out cleaning staff. Talk about a Toronto elite and parasite.
Simone Daniels, ah finally someone who breaks up the old boys club, oh but wait she works for DECO labels and was and advisor to Rob Ford. Another patronage crony position doled out to friends.
So basically the “people” , the “little guy”, the ” tax fighters” are rich political insiders who are living large on our dime.
If you thought Ford was gonna help the little guy, his transition team is made up of “folks” that have done nothing in their lives but fuck over working people and the poor.
Not even a week after being elected.. All his rich cronies and thieves.. Might as well just give him your bank book.. Seniors are screwed.. Right now I am not all that healthy but as soon as I am up and at em I will fight
I already gave my comment.. People were so eager for change that they thought he might just keep a promise.. NOPE!!! They chose the wrong change.. Ontario is screwed.. I just hope I can get my heart surgery over and done before he locks up the hospitals.. I have no trust in this man at all.. Dr. said that I need less stress until I get my surgery in case I have a heart attack.. Not much luck at that with him in charge of Ontario!!
