We spend the half-hour in discussion with Roger Annis, a former aerospace workers and member of the International Association of Machinists, on a variety of subjects ranging from the CAW’s recent aerospace policy paper, to the proposed CAW-CEP merger, to recent development at Air Canada, to the state of organized labour and its relationship to the student movement and election in Quebec. Roger lives in Vancouver but was in Montreal for the conference Les Nouveaux Cahiers de Socialisme which brought together labour, student and political activists from across Quebec and beyond. Roger’s writings can be found at RogerAnnis.com.
